Being from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan means a lot of things. As a photographer, it means you're surrounded by the beauty of nature in any direction. You experience all four seasons and have year round opportunities to make images. Whether it's the never-ending shoreline of Lake Superior, the numerous hills, trees, wildlife, insects, and everything in-between, the U.P. is a dream location for photography. I’m truly fortunate to live in such a unique place.

Since purchasing my first camera in 2023, I've made it my goal to capture anything and everything - not just beautiful landscapes. I've done product photography, documented events, shot architecture, and helped businesses create images that help tell their story. I've seen the sun rise while most people are sleeping. I've walked along the icy Black Rocks in November and felt the energy of waves in constant motion. I’ve walked through the woods in pitch black with a headlamp in search of Northern Lights and the Milky Way. Through it all, I've learned new skills, expanded my gear, seen new places, and met some wonderful people.

Photography allows me to create, collaborate, and connect. I look forward to the next client conversation, the next road trip, and the satisfaction knowing someone has my art on their wall.
